The opportunity

The role of Nurse Practitioner is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday based in our Seven Hills office. You will be a fundamental part of the team providing comprehensive and expert care to people in the community. Reporting to the Director Clinical Operations, NSW you will work with a highly supportive team to ensure our vision to optimise health and wellbeing of our clients at end of life.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Providing direct clinical care
  • Provide clinical leadership in nursing and demonstrate leadership qualities to all health care professionals
  • Share expert nursing knowledge to the multidisciplinary team, providing guidance, support, and advice on clinical management
  • Act as clinical teacher and resource person
  • Establish effective, collaborative and professional relationships with clients and stakeholders

About you

  • Current AHPRA registration as Nurse Practitioner or working towards
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical skills, knowledge and experience
  • Experience and/or postgraduate qualification palliative care
  • Good knowledge regarding community resources available to enhance client quality of life
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer literacy
  • Effective time management and organisational skills

Under the Aged Care act 1997, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance prior to commencement.
